Crab burger

Crab burger tastes amazingly good! Crab contains vitamin B-12, selenium and zinc which is good for the body.

    • 4 crab shells
    • 300 g cod fillet
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 bunch fresh dill
    • 1 spring onion
    • 10 turns of a pepper grinder
    • 0.5 tsp salt
    • Oil for frying
  • Pepper salad
    • 1 green pepper
    • 1 red pepper
    • 40 g olive oil
    • 0.5 tsp salt
    • 8 turns of a pepper grinder

Procedure

  1. Cut the peppers into rings then coat in oil and season with salt and pepper. Leave for around 10 minutes so the peppers soften slightly.
  2. Finely chop the cod fillet and transfer to a bowl. Mix in the crab meat and crack in the eggs, roughly chopped dill and finely chopped spring onion, then mix again. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Shape the crab burgers using a spoon and fry in a frying pan over a medium heat. Fry for approx. 5 minutes on each side.
    Take care when turning the crab burgers as they are quite loose. 
  4. Place the burgers on top of the pepper salad and serve. You can also serve in hamburger buns.

    Advice
    Get a bowl or large glass and fill with cold water for the spoon you use to shape the burgers. By keeping the spoon moist, it will be easier to shape the burgers.
